The premise

Here’s the bit.

Lyle Waggoner's Count Dracula introduces the show's tribute to horror films, sending his wife out for blood and groaning at his own puns. A brief Egyptian-tomb scene sees Vincent Price's explorer pry open King Tut's coffin, only for the mummy to step out. The main feature parodies Bride of Frankenstein: Price's scientist and his nervous assistant (Vicki Lawrence) unveil a bride stitched together from his victims' finest parts for Harvey Korman's lovesick monster. Carol Burnett's bride is anything but graceful, and once the assistant teaches her some makeup and the doctor marries the pair, she turns the monster down on their wedding night.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

Bring back two quarts of blood and something nice for dinner. Anything but a stake. It gives me heartburn.

Well, I'll try, but this is Eastern Europe and it's not easy to get parts, you know.

Not tonight. Headache.

The rabbit hole continues

One more couldn’t hurt.
