Cobumble

In this send-up of Columbo, framed as a mystery-movie broadcast, the devoted butler James dotes on the gentle Melanie and dreads her identical twin Laverna, a spiteful schemer with a habit of killing people. When Melanie's husband Victor rejects Laverna's proposal to do away with her sister and marry him, Laverna does the job herself and assumes Melanie's identity. Victor grows suspicious as the new Melanie forgets her wedding ring and fumbles for her glasses, while Lieutenant Cobumble of the LAPD shambles in, haggles over the couch and quizzes everyone about the price of their shoes. After a shoe-fitting test settles nothing, Victor's question about a state capital exposes Laverna, who grabs a gun and shoots Victor. When the weapon ends up in James's hands, the lieutenant cheerfully arrests the butler.

A parody of the TV detective series Columbo, with guest Steve Lawrence as the rumpled lieutenant and Tim Conway as the butler. TheTVDB and IMDb place it in season 6, episode 14 (December 23, 1972), matching the official clip's label.
