The premise

Here’s the bit.

Aunt Martha cuts her visit short because she cannot relax around Harry, her niece's husband, who happens to be the Invisible Man, and their new baby has inherited his condition. Left alone with him, the wife is swept into unseen kisses, a tussle on the sofa, a stiff drink and a dance she wrestles with across the living room, all performed against empty air. When a delivery from Warwick's pharmacy brings an experimental formula meant to make the baby visible, she has Harry test it first, and the potion reveals him to be Leonard Nimoy in full Spock costume.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

His looks aren't anything.

I don't like to just sit for three hours next to a bag of popcorn.

My luck, it had to look like his father.

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

IMDb and TVmaze place this sketch in season 1, episode 12 (December 4, 1967), the episode with guests Barbara Eden, Leonard Nimoy and Jonathan Winters; the official YouTube clip's description labels it season 1, episode 14. The closing reveal dresses Nimoy as Spock, the Star Trek character he was then playing.

The rabbit hole continues

One more couldn’t hurt.
