The premise

Here’s the bit.

An usher squeezes Courtney into the last open seat of a packed movie theater, right beside a boy who only wants to watch the film. After a toothy introduction she works through a string of baffling intrusions: taping up her fingers, snipping at his hair, slurping yogurt and offering him some, reaching for something in his nose and daubing green paint on his cheek. When she finally produces a pair of his underpants, the fed-up boy snatches them back and storms out, and a blond teenager promptly slides into the empty seat to snuggle up with Courtney as her date.
