Twilight Age Gap
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
In a misty forest, Bella lays out the clues that Edward is something more than human, only to fixate on a far less romantic discovery: he has been 17 for 30 years. She had pictured him as centuries old, which at least would have felt magical. As Edward reminisces about the early 1990s, it emerges that he graduated from Forks High School in the same class as her father, Charlie, and has simply kept going back ever since. His efforts to prove he is still a regular teenager, full of dated slang and long-gone hobbies, only widen the gap, and his prom invitation is cut short when his phone rings and he happily greets his old buddy Charlie.

Highly quotable.
No, I'm 17. I've just been 17 for 30 years.
Charlie was my home skillet!
Because you were 30 years old when I was born!
