The premise

Here’s the bit.

Three members of a covert slang committee are summoned to a paneled conference room by their leader Bob, who warns that a debutante in Connecticut has already picked up their newest catchphrase. Using a wall chart tracing decades of slang, from groovy through cool, fat and all that to the bomb, the group bickers about which word came first, then brainstorms a replacement. After rejecting weapons-based ideas, they land on disaster and plague imagery and decide that Ebola is the next way to say something is great. They send the new word out to their operatives, shrug off a worried reminder about the word funky, and close the meeting delighted with their work.
