The premise

Here’s the bit.

After overhearing two girls mock her hand-me-down sweater, Sarah discovers three big-haired teen ghosts living in the bathroom mirror. Mandy, Tandy and Beth died at a mall concert decades ago and can only move on by passing their wisdom to an insecure teen, so they give her a permed makeover, a list of dated insults and ideas like a fistfight or a ski race, none of which work in the present day. When the bullies return, Sarah simply tells them their comments hurt; they apologize and invite her to a volunteer cleanup, leaving the ghosts still trapped and furious.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

Trampled to death during a food court Tiffany concert!

Okay, none of this is okay to say anymore.

Laserdisc! We're never gonna get out of here!

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

Aired in Studio C's Season 14 Halloween special, "Edgar Allan Crow". The ghosts' fatal food-court Tiffany concert nods to the singer's 1987 tour of American shopping malls.

The rabbit hole continues

One more couldn’t hurt.
