Putting the Fun in Funeral
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
As a young man delivers a solemn eulogy, a grinning guest in a grey suit keeps derailing the service: he produces a Twister mat, pays a delivery driver for stacks of pizza, passes slices to the grieving family, inflates balloons and fires confetti over the coffin. When the exasperated speaker finally confronts him, the guest insists the deceased was a joyful soul who would have hated a sad send-off, only to learn that he has been partying at the wrong funeral. The party clown he came to honour is being mourned next door, so he sheepishly gathers his pizza boxes and his pet monkey and takes his games to the right service.

Highly quotable.
I brought Twister.
He was not a good man. He was a great man.
A fun-loving, spontaneous, effervescent sugarplum of a man.

you are being entirely disrespectful you've been constantly trying to interrupt the funeral of a good man.
- 02:33
Party Guy
A good man? He was not a good man. He was a great man. A fun-loving, spontaneous, effervescent sugar plum of a man. He wouldn't have wanted today to be sad. He would have wanted today to be happy. A joyful celebration of his life. I mean, for goodness sakes, George was a party clown.
- 03:05
Eulogist
