Is This Guy Jordan's Real Father?
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Jordan knocks on a trailer-home door and introduces himself to Earl Peele as his long-lost son. Earl sits him down and flatly denies it, brushing off the evidence: the two share an identical habit of rubbing the backs of their necks when uneasy, and Jordan's baby photo shows a younger man with a full afro rather than Earl's gray hair. Apologizing, Jordan mentions that he now produces and stars in his own television show, and Earl abruptly reverses course, treating every shared mannerism as proof of their bond and smothering his newfound son with affection. When Jordan points out how conveniently the change came, and adds that the show is on Comedy Central, Earl's enthusiasm vanishes and he throws him out.

Notes from the archive.
Jordan Peele was raised by his mother and did not know his own father, a background that a Cheat Sheet article connects to this sketch.
