Monster Under the Bed
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
A boy keeps calling his mother back to his room because something is hiding under his bed, and he is certain it is Pitbull. Each time she leaves, a sunglassed Pitbull springs out, laughs and rattles off repetitive party lyrics and bilingual counting before vanishing again, while the boy complains about the lazy rhymes. His mother humours him until she jokingly name-checks a beach-party cliche and the rapper appears in front of her too. Following a legend, mother and son close their eyes and chant "Miami" three times, banishing him with a final shout. Just as the house settles down, a different pop star in a tuxedo pops up with a Gangnam Style dance, and the boy screams for his mom once more.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
It's not a monster. It's Grammy Award winning artist Pitbull.
I don't know, but it sounded degrading.
He thinks I don't know how to count to four in Spanish.

Notes from the archive.
Studio C posted the sketch on its official YouTube channel on October 27, 2017, as "Monster Under the Bed ft. Pitbull", three days before the Season 8 Halloween special aired on BYUtv. Cast member Dalton Johnson, who wrote it, appears at the end as the PSY lookalike.
