The premise

Here’s the bit.

Moderator Sir Hector hosts a debate between two hopefuls for the throne. Sir Eric answers every question with sensible policy, from public education to hand washing against the plague, but the crowd only erupts when Sir Arthur keeps yanking the sword out of the stone and offering empty slogans. Arthur explains his "metaphor" with a straight face, Merlin foresees that his plans will work, and a promise to make the table round wins over Sir Lancelot and the knights, leaving an exasperated Eric to lose the kingdom to King Arthur.

The funny people

Meet the cast. 5

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

You see, the sword represents a sharp, pointy object used as a weapon, and the stone represents a rock.

I shall make the table round!

Wait until 2016.

The rabbit hole continues

One more couldn’t hurt.
