The premise
Here’s the bit.
In this high-fashion parody, a Thanksgiving special gets a glamorous makeover as it-girl celebrities past and present gather for a star-studded holiday dinner. Hosted by Marc Jacobs (Bowen Yang) and Julia Fox (Chloe Fineman), the special features Victoria Beckham (Charli XCX) showing off her signature poses, Naomi Campbell (Ego Nwodim) strutting down the dinner table like a runway, Rachel Sennott (Sarah Sherman) bringing her signature energy, and Cher (Heidi Gardner) stealing the show with hilarious musical interludes singing modified versions of her hits. The Olsen Twins share one oversized coat and keep getting lost in it, while fashion stylist Law Roach (Kenan Thompson) provides commentary. The sketch parodies both celebrity Thanksgiving specials and fashion culture, featuring a turkey on Ozempic, cigarette casserole, and the turkey shooting stuffing. The whole affair is a fever dream celebration of fashion week meets holiday traditions, complete with references to Charli XCX's "360" music video and The Substance movie.
