The premise

Here’s the bit.

A hostess (Mo Collins) welcomes her new neighbor, the wild-haired Happy Folger (Michael McDonald), to her family's Thanksgiving table. When he mentions that all of his relatives have died, she politely invites him to share a memory of their last holiday together. His account of being snowed in at a mountain cabin without food turns into a gleeful, graphic confession of eating the cook and then hunting down his own family one by one, and each attempt by the horrified guests to stop him only prompts him to promise more. Ordered out of the house, he agrees to go, but only after dessert, before a closing card wishes viewers a happy Thanksgiving.

Highly quotable.

It's just a shame that all of my family members have died.

Wait, there's more.

But not before dessert!

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

This was Happy Folger's Thanksgiving installment in Mad TV's November 21, 1998 holiday episode, which also featured Stuart's Thanksgiving and a Thanksgiving album from Darlene McBride.
