The premise

Here’s the bit.

Set at the end of 2019, the sketch follows a group of friends who visit Madame Vivelda's parlor hoping to hear that the coming year will be better. One by one the turbaned psychic reads their palms and describes scenes that baffle them but that the 2020 audience instantly recognizes: soaping a bag of chips, sobbing to a delivery company about an adult coloring book, a road trip with no rest stops, buying stamps to spite the Postmaster General and a parent exposing himself on a video call. When she declares that one friend will be cut off by the others for the sin of dining indoors, the group is left more confused than reassured, and Vivelda signs off with a parting jab at J.K. Rowling.

Highly quotable.

For Madame Vivelda knows all.

No, no, I see no concerts in 2020. Only coloring.

You will eat inside a restaurant.
