The premise

Here’s the bit.

Count Floyd, the howling vampire host of Monster Chiller Horror Theatre, promotes this week's midnight movie with a handful of scenes from Dr. Tongue's Evil House of Wax. A young woman touring a wax museum notices that one exhibit looks suspiciously like a recently murdered girl, while the bespectacled Dr. Tongue lurks nearby, rants about being called mad and summons his hunched servant Bruno, who turns up clutching a cockatoo. The clips build to a 3-D "thrill" in which an argument over snacks at a shop counter ends with potato chips flung at the camera. Back in his crypt, Floyd insists the effects leap right off the screen and urges viewers to mail him eighteen dollars for the special glasses.

Highly quotable.

He called me mad. He called me insane.

That's scary stuff, isn't it? It just jumps right out the screen, right at you, right into your face.

Just send $18 to cover postage and handling.
