A VERY GOOD USE OF YOUR TIME.

The setup

The premise

Here’s the bit.

Anchor Kitty Singleton interviews Richard Sullivan, director of Housing and Urban Development, about budget cuts and public housing, and the two keep a perfectly straight face throughout. Behind the desk, Background Guy mugs for the camera, competes with a rival boy and then wrestles a woman for the spot, cycles through a frizzy wig, a keyboard guitar and white mime makeup, and leaps around the set. The newscast signs off calmly as a gorilla carries one of the scene-stealers up the wall like King Kong.
