The premise
Here’s the bit.
After a storybook narration sends three one-eyed warriors to an ancient temple, the Maidens of the Vault explain that the treasure door opens only when they answer a riddle. The cyclopes cannot grasp the idea, keep asking whether the door can just be opened, crowd the lead maiden and shout the same guesses, and her patience collapses as the scene dissolves into pleading and laughter. Desperate to be freed from a thousand years of guard duty, the maidens settle for a technicality and hand over the treasure anyway.
