A Frightening Tale

Friends roasting marshmallows in the woods press Brandon for a scary story, and he insists his is real. Two years earlier, a favor for his dad led to coffee with Connor, a recent college graduate and would-be filmmaker who spent hours delivering stale complaints about reboots, CGI and Hollywood as if no one had ever made them before. Connor got Brandon's number and has been texting hot takes ever since, and Brandon explains that the curse only lifts when its victim introduces him to someone new. As the campers recoil, Connor steps out of the dark to pitch his podcast to Eric.
