Genetics Lab

A guide takes visitors from the Department of Health through NextGene Labs, hoping they will approve its research. Their attention shifts to a dog-human hybrid, and geneticist Aaron Goldman proudly defends the expensive creation. He and his colleague celebrate ordinary activities as scientific milestones, while the visitors question the experiment’s purpose, cost and legality. Goldman also serves as the lab’s legal counsel, relying on an internet search to justify his work. The scientists become absorbed in the hybrid’s next developments, leaving the guide to face the officials’ decision to close the lab.

This is the first Dog Head Man installment listed by SNL Archives. Mikey Day returns as the scientist in New Military Weapon on November 20, 2021.
