The premise

Here’s the bit.

Bobby Moynihan's moderator opens the International Mad Scientist Society's annual contest for the world's most evil invention. Doctor Micronox demonstrates a shrink ray for pocketing landmarks and Baroness Antarctica a freeze ray for icing over famous monuments, and both earn approving nods. Then Roy, an upbeat contestant in a lab coat, rolls out a cheap, solar-powered robot designed to abuse children and proudly pitches its efficiency, leaving the costumed villains appalled. Unbothered, Roy lectures them on the dictionary meaning of evil, cites Mussolini as the real benchmark and ridicules their tame entries; as the society threatens to call the police, his offer to talk it over at the restaurant across the street turns the finale into an abrupt plug for White Castle.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

I guess bad things do come in small packages.

My most evil idea was a blizzard in July.

It's a White Castle, man! Just say White Castle!

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

The sketch aired in the Season 42 finale, the last episode as cast members for both Bobby Moynihan and Sasheer Zamata.
