Thanksgiving Guest

Trey arrives home from college for Thanksgiving with Elise, the girlfriend his family has been curious to meet, and she turns out to be a large, cheerful turkey. His parents and brothers fumble to describe the side dishes rather than mention the main course, but when Elise lifts the cover off the platter she faints at the sight of the roast bird. Revived with a handful of corn, she gamely insists on staying for the family's special day, even shrugging off the fact that dinner used to be her neighbor. Her composure crumbles as Dad attacks the bird with an electric carving knife, sends pieces flying and digs out the stuffing, and Elise runs out of the house, leaving Trey to blame his father.

Thanksgiving Guest was the final sketch of the November 23, 2013 episode hosted by Josh Hutcherson with musical guest HAIM, the last SNL broadcast before Thanksgiving that year.
