The premise
Here’s the bit.
Bob Swerski hosts a Thanksgiving gathering at Ditka’s with three fellow Chicago Bears loyalists. A school pageant turns early American history into a football forecast, while the fans compare injuries and deal with Todd choking on his food. The arrival of Bob’s daughter Denise tempts Todd until a vision of his wife restores his resolve. Their final attempt at gratitude lasts only until kickoff.
