Aunt Judy proudly leads four adults down to her redecorated basement, where they are expected to eat Thanksgiving dinner at the same card table they have been seated at since childhood. Once she heads back upstairs, Bobby complains that the age limit for the grown-ups' table keeps rising along with him, while Susan begs everyone to act mature and the others claim to have made peace with the tradition. Reminiscing about old dinner-table gross-outs quickly turns into the real thing: Andy parrots every word his cousin says, Bobby fakes punches at his sister and hits her when she flinches, and the women run to the stairs shrieking for Aunt Judy. When she comes down to scold them, all four mumble apologies like scolded kids, but the moment she leaves, threats and flying food start the roughhousing all over again.
