The premise
Here’s the bit.
After losing a friend to marriage, Carrie visits a convention devoted to upgrading acquaintances into friends. Her hairdresser’s enthusiastic drinking habits put her off, while Kendall offers access to his social circle. At Kendall’s party, Carrie meets Damian Lillard and finds someone she actually wants to spend time with. Kendall keeps inserting himself into their conversation, then tries to distract the room when Carrie leaves.
The funny people

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
It's like a friend you don't have to text back.
It's more of, like, a friend provider.
