The setup
The premise
A satirical look at commercials of the future featuring increasingly profane and absurd advertising. The sketch is best known for introducing "Pit-Pat," described as "the pansexual non-threatening spokesthing" for the corporation Globo-Chem. The sketch parodies how advertising might evolve with looser content standards, featuring swearing in burger commercials and bizarre mascot concepts. The segment shows an advertising agency trying to sell their clients on the Pit-Pat character, interspersed with mock commercials from various fictional companies.
