The premise
Here’s the bit.
Presented as a Walt Disney Pictures preview, the sketch introduces a typical American family played by impersonations of Johnny Depp, Ellen DeGeneres, Eddie Murphy, Dakota Fanning and Clay Aiken, lost in a little boat and squabbling over a map that will not fold back up. They drift into a glittering village of dolls dressed in costumes from around the world, and the narrator reminds viewers of Disney's earlier ride adaptations, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion, before unveiling the next one. The dolls then turn on the visitors, belting a bloodthirsty rewrite of the ride's famous song as they attack, and the trailer closes on the young star fighting back with a machine gun before teasing yet another ride movie: Teacups.
