The premise

Here’s the bit.

In a send-up of late-night TV commercials, a narrator surveys mourners dozing through a lifeless funeral and offers an upgrade: for a limited time, Elton John (Will Sasso) will rewrite his classic songs for your loved one and perform them beside the casket. Seated at a piano next to the priest, Elton bids farewell to an accountant uncle and then belts reworked versions of hits such as Rocket Man and Crocodile Rock about a lineman electrocuted on the power lines, a shooting and a fitness-minded dad felled by a stroke, while the narrator promises the service will be the social event of the season. Grieving guests including Alex Borstein and Aries Spears go from dabbing their eyes to singing along, and the funeral turns into a dance party with beach balls bouncing over the pews as an order card asks for $200,000 sent to Funeral Wizard in Atlanta and warns that Elton may take weeks to arrive.
