The premise

Here’s the bit.

Out shopping, Marjorie Dawes fails to recognise Paul, a member of her Fat Fighters weight-loss class, until he reminds her who he is. When he notices a trolley piled high with junk food, she first insists her trolley is a different one, then claims the treats are for the baby sitting in it, whose name she does not seem to know. She quickly turns the inspection on Paul, finds a single chocolate bar in his basket and berates him as a lost cause who might as well quit, before hastily urging him to keep attending so her class numbers stay up. Once he leaves she wheels the loaded trolley to the checkout, only to find that the cashier is Meera, another member of her group.

Highly quotable.

Yeah, it's for the baby.

I don't think there's much point in you coming to Fat Fighters anymore, is there, Paul?
