The premise
Here’s the bit.
Adam proudly reveals that his Halloween costume is Twilight Sparkle and that he is a brony, a grown man who loves My Little Pony, and his costumed roommates insist they cannot be seen with him. Their mockery collapses as each of them confesses an embarrassing second costume hidden underneath: the wizard is secretly Hello Kitty, SpongeBob turns out to be an obsessive Trump supporter, and the Red Ranger is just another Power Ranger. When their late friend James arrives wearing the very same pony suit, Adam feels vindicated until James insists he is dressed as something else entirely.
