Behind the running joke
A little backstory.
Marjorie Dawes (Matt Lucas) runs a local Fat Fighters weight-loss group while being openly rude to its members and hiding her own overeating. Her sketches follow the class and the regulars, including Paul, Pat, Tania and Meera, whom Marjorie routinely pretends not to understand. She appears across all three television series of Little Britain.
