The setup
The premise
Talking straight to camera, Limmy insists that what follows is not a sketch: while getting a big mirror ready for filming he left the camera running, and when he went through the recordings later he spotted something he felt viewers ought to see, so he offers a gentle warning first. In the footage he wipes down the glass while his reflection drifts out of step with him, standing still, looking around and at one point raising a finger to its lips. Back on camera Limmy can only stare in silence, and a coda after the closing title returns to the recording as the reflection carries on by itself and reaches for the camera.

What I'm about to show you isn't a sketch.
It's a wee bit disturbing, so if that's not your thing then look away for a wee minute.

A little extra
From the first episode of the 2020 series. Like The Stair Monster in the 2018 special, it is framed as genuine home footage rather than a sketch, and Limmy plays both himself and his misbehaving reflection.
