A mustachioed patrol officer in aviator sunglasses rolls up to an alley to look into a reported disturbance. A young black man turns around holding a popsicle, and the officer panics and opens fire. Next he comes upon two men, one black and one white, each eating a banana; he shoots only the black man and politely tells the white one to clear the area for his own safety. A white man draped in rifles and ammunition belts then wanders out, and the officer waves him along without a second look before gunning down a black man carrying a stuffed toy giraffe. By nightfall the alley is a crime scene, and when the police chief arrives and lifts his coffee cup to take a sip, the officer shoots him too, then shrugs it off as an honest mistake. The sketch pushes the officer's double standard into deliberately absurd slapstick to satirize racially biased police shootings.
