The premise
Here’s the bit.
At a dog daycare, Amy meets owners who compete to tell the most extraordinary rescue story. The conversation turns their pets into bundles of human anxieties, complete with dietary rules, medication and parenting theories. A late arrival raises the stakes with a dog whose rescue came after its death.
