The premise
Here’s the bit.
Convinced that fashion has left her behind at forty-eight, a woman asks her friends for help in a clothing shop. Their makeover session produces a parade of outfits that look dated, shapeless or painfully unflattering. A promising choice has a disastrous rear view, and even statement accessories carry troubling associations. The group finally proposes a more demanding solution: a signature look she can make her own.
