SKETCH-O-VISION
A VERY GOOD USE OF YOUR TIME.

The setup

A motorist’s quick petrol stop turns into a property negotiation when two former estate agents take over the forecourt.

The premise

Here’s the bit.

A customer wants to buy petrol, but the men behind the counter still behave like estate agents. Nick and Simon describe fuel as a desirable investment, talk up competing buyers and treat access to a pump like arranging a property viewing. Even paying cash fails to simplify the transaction. As the attendants negotiate with a supposed owner and postpone delivery, the customer’s frustration turns into a mock public appeal about estate agents displaced by the property slump.

The funny people

Highly quotable.

What's 'cheaper' in new money, Simon?

Beautifully priced.

A little extra

Notes from the archive.

Before moving into petrol sales, Nick and Simon worked for the fictional estate agency Wilson and Routledge.
