The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Mr. Smear brings his son Michael to the headmaster to protest what the boy has learned about reproduction. Mr. Casilingua tries to explain the curriculum, but the father insists that a respectable home is enough to produce children. Treating the school like a shop, he demands an exchange for his supposedly spoiled son. The headmaster offers a pair of laboratory locusts and puts the father’s own explanation of family life to work.
