I got a robe.
I'm going to make us breakfast in my brand new robe, which I love so much. It's really soft and...oh, it's on sale.
I burned my hand on the oven but I didn't even scream, cus I keep the pain inside of me!
I got a nerf gun! I got a hat! I got an autographed baseball bat! ... And I got a robe.
Mine has a bottle of nice cologne, and mine, like me, is empty and alone.
And he got a robe!

In this pre-taped musical sketch, a cheerful family shows off their Christmas haul in sing-song fashion. The son (Kyle Mooney) received a drum set, drone, Lego Millennium Falcon, and even a McLovin Cameo. The daughter (Chloe Fineman) got a smartphone, hoverboard, replica sword, and more. Dad (Beck Bennett) scored a vintage pinball machine, outdoor pizza oven, laptop, and autographed baseball bat. Even the family dog received squeaky toys, treats, and his own plush robe. Meanwhile, Mom (Kristen Wiig) sits with a single gift—a discount bathrobe, marked down 40%. Through deadpan delivery and increasingly dark asides (like mentioning she burned her hand on the oven "but didn't even scream because I keep the pain inside of me"), the sketch hilariously skewers how mothers are often overlooked during the holidays despite doing all the work to make Christmas magical for everyone else.

This pretape format sketch was designed to be relatable, particularly resonating with mothers. Chloe Fineman's dog Peach was a last-minute addition to the sketch when the scheduled dog handler was out sick with COVID-19. Peach was only a few weeks old at the time, having been adopted by Fineman in November 2020. The sketch uses a generic musical style similar to retail commercials. Fineman mentioned in a 2024 interview that they used peanut butter all over the set to get Peach to perform his "dog acting". The sketch received over 12.5 million views on YouTube and became a viral hit. The piece is considered one of the highlights of Season 46. Features a cute bumper shot of Peach eating the SNL logo. Many viewers reported this sketch changed Christmas gift-giving dynamics in their households, with family members making sure moms weren't forgotten. The sketch aired as part of the final SNL episode of 2020, right before Christmas. Rated 4.5 stars by the One SNL A Day Project reviewer.
