The premise
Here’s the bit.
An assured narrator introduces a hopelessly bad orchestra, then repeatedly replaces it with supposedly worse contenders. Empty chairs give way to criminal and historical montages, and even a star threatening cosmic destruction is judged by its lack of musical ability. The comparisons culminate in a blunt attack on the Philadelphia Philharmonic, followed by a sponsor card revealing who has been paying for this musical criticism.
