Ted & Ralph: Drinking Game
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Ted and his friends are enjoying a pub game that requires them to name vegetables between words. Ralph arrives with something serious to tell him, but every attempt at a private conversation is drowned out by laughter and demands for a forfeit. Reluctantly following the rules, Ralph finally communicates his news in the prescribed vegetable sequence. The table falls silent as Ted learns that his wife has died, while Ralph struggles to express sympathy without breaking the game.
