The premise
Here’s the bit.
While Ted works on a fence, Ralph approaches with two Tina Turner tickets and an uncertain invitation. Ted keeps the exchange practical, leaving Ralph to fill the silences with details about the venue, an overnight stay and shopping. After Ralph retreats, Ted quietly reveals a connection to the music that he kept out of their conversation.
