That's Amazing: Monster
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Presenter Carl Hooper opens That's Amazing by promising a man who came face to face with a monster, then can't resist a cheap joke about the guest's wife and a fumbled line about his name. Dick Wellington solemnly explains that he lives on sacred, possibly haunted land and that, walking home from the pub one night, he met a half-spirit, half-snake, half-man bird. Under questioning the creature unravels: it was invisible, its fangs and claws were a guess, it made a terrifying silence and it left no footprint because it hovered. An exasperated Carl orders him off the show, but Dick keeps protesting, waving a photograph in which nothing can be seen and insisting the creatures are out there as he is chased out.

Highly quotable.
So you saw and heard an invisible and silent monster?
No imprint. It was hovering.
I've taken a picture. It's really spooky.
