Heaven's Got a Rookie Angel

Angel Harrington is busy polishing halos and tuning harps on his private cloud when the Archangel announces that a housing shortage means he must take in a newcomer. The new arrival is a bumbling innocent who is unsettled at being called Angel, cannot work out how to reach the top bunk without a ladder, and keeps fiddling with the harps and halos Harrington is trying to look after. Each attempt to help only bends, drops or scatters more of the heavenly equipment, until Harrington loses all patience and marches his cloudmate out to the edge of the cloud.
