The premise

Here’s the bit.

In a black-and-white RAF mess, two Second World War pilots puff on pipes over mugs of tea and talk in the street slang of modern London teenagers. Biffy confesses that a letter from home has left him miserable and wrestling with his self-esteem, so his friend urges him to read it out. The writer breezily describes meeting an American GI who showers them with presents and chewing gum, trading declarations of love and getting intimate with him behind the local cinema. Biffy's friend agrees it is a rough letter to receive, then supplies the payoff: it was written by Biffy's dad, and both pilots are certain his mum is going to kill him.

And then I let him touch me up behind the Tooting Granada.

Especially from your dad.
