The premise

Here’s the bit.

Rachel finds evidence that William has been unfaithful, but their argument remains strangely restrained as he dismisses her concerns and her wish to start a family. Even her admission of a gambling problem barely raises the temperature. When William suspects that their real disagreement concerns a refrigerator left open, Rachel finally breaks down over the food she had to discard, and the couple reconcile around a very unusual order of priorities.
