A VERY GOOD USE OF YOUR TIME.

The setup

Every time the class clowns of a cheesy 1980s teen sitcom crack a joke, the show freezes, and the friends wake up to find things have gone horribly wrong.

The premise

Here’s the bit.

In a Saved by the Bell-style sitcom, smooth student Tommy, his girlfriend Heather and their friend Karen trade wholesome banter while goofballs Rex and Scooter close each scene with a corny catchphrase and a freeze-frame. Heather and Karen soon realize that every freeze skips ahead in time: their clothes change, a sandwich vanishes and Tommy suddenly has a pierced ear. The pranksters keep joking anyway, and each jump gets darker, leaving Rex paralyzed, Karen and then Scooter dead, and Rex arrested by a detective at the funeral home before Heather wakes up from what was only a dream.

Highly quotable.

I'll work in the cafeteria wherever you go.

How many days just went by during that freezeframe?

Guys, I just realized I don't even think I have parents.

One more couldn’t hurt.
