The premise
Here’s the bit.
A birthday dinner turns tense when three fortune cookies predict a crime, a witness and a death within minutes. Jeremy suspects Matt, while Stacey treats each new message as further evidence. More cookies make their explanations increasingly elaborate, until an ordinary parking complaint seems to settle the matter. A last intervention gives the prediction a darker payoff.
