The premise

Here’s the bit.

Two customers visit a struggling Times Square souvenir shop, where one insists on buying an unappealing pair of New York underwear. The shopkeeper enlists the neighborhood’s costumed performers to discourage him, turning the transaction into an elaborate musical tour of a city emptied by the pandemic. A restaurant mascot mourns the tourists, a rooftop creep interrupts, and Lady Liberty answers the gloom with stubborn civic pride. After a contagious visitor causes another scare, the ensemble turns its attention to the approaching election and the uncertainty beyond it.

Highly quotable.

I love New York and I want my modest bulge to show that.

A little extra
