Black Friday

A store Santa welcomes early shoppers into a cluttered holiday sale, where a woman in a patterned cardigan and a man in a striped sweater size each other up across a table holding one discounted iPad. When the loudspeaker announces a steep price cut lasting only sixty seconds, their standoff explodes into a store-wide free-for-all of tackles, flying merchandise, a toppled Santa and even a ninja, ending with the striped-sweater shopper raising the box in triumph. The sale is called off as suddenly as it began, and the next announcement offers a giveaway nobody is fighting over.

Black Friday opened Studio C’s Season 3, Episode 8, which first aired on BYUtv during Thanksgiving week in November 2013.
