The premise
Here’s the bit.
At a Halloween book signing, Goosebumps author R.L. Stine greets his young fans until Ann Withers reaches the front of the line. Stine can't get her name right, botches their photo together and has his assistant hurry her along, so Ann returns in a flimsy disguise to complain about his weaker titles. When she starts flirting by slipping his book titles into conversation, Stine is unexpectedly charmed, invites her to lunch and leaves the remaining fans waiting.
