The premise

Here’s the bit.

In this SCTV commercial parody, an excitable announcer in a loud plaid jacket stands outside a monster-mouthed ride entrance at Funland in Maryvale and rattles off ever more impossible statistics for the Devil's Towering 10-G Upside-down Inferno: a sheer climb, an inverted plunge, a burning loop and top speeds that keep creeping toward 500 miles an hour. He then turns to two satisfied riders, who loved every second even though the G-forces have squashed their faces flat, before wrapping up with one last breathless sales pitch.

Say it with us

Highly quotable.

Too fast to catch on fire, but not too fast to feel the heat.

It's a bug-eyed whirlwind of screaming terror.

A little extra
